I've been reflecting on the increasing trend of Vietnamese students pursuing education overseas. Reports indicate that nearly 250,000 of our students are studying abroad, with popular destinations including South Korea, Japan, Australia, the U.S., Taiwan, China, and Canada.
While studying abroad offers exposure to advanced education systems and diverse cultures, it also presents challenges. Many students face financial burdens, cultural differences, and homesickness.
Given these factors, I'm curious: Is studying abroad still the best option for Vietnamese students seeking quality education and personal growth? Are there emerging opportunities within Vietnam that offer comparable benefits without the associated challenges of studying overseas?
I would appreciate insights from those who have studied abroad or are familiar with the current educational landscape in Vietnam.
