As someone who manages solar installs, I see people trying to escape these costs every day, but APS is still pushing for another 14% increase.

It’s common sense—if you run a business, you can't survive when the overhead spikes like that. We’ve got the Corporation Commission election coming up in November and we need leaders who actually hold these utilities accountable for their spending. I’m tired of hearing about 'cost recovery' while hardworking locals are struggling to keep the lights on. If you aren't looking at solar or ways to get off their grid yet, you need to start. These rates aren't going down on their own, and the government needs to stop letting them squeeze us dry.
